What’s to Like About Belkin BE108230-12?
The sleek and slender space-saving design of Belkin BE108230-12 was what drew me to it. Its slim design allows you to tuck it under the sofa and get it out of sight from little ones at home. It has a cable management system that will allow you to tuck the power cord in a very neat and tidy fashion.
Durability is one important factor when I look for a point-of-use surge protector. This Belkin surge protector fits the bill with its durable damage-resistant housing. And if you have kids at home, you will come to appreciate more of its durability.
Another impressive feature is that it is really quiet. The EMI/RFI power filtration feature ensures minimum line noise and keeps interference to the lowest.
Last but not least, I like the fact it is pretty versatile in terms of usage. It is able to provide power and protect a wide variety of appliances like home theaters, electrical devices, office computers and peripherals like printers and fax machines.
Belkin BE108230-12 – Pros and Cons
This Belkin surge protection is obviously not perfect, and this applies to a lot of things in life. 🙂 For me, so long it serves its intended purpose, I would say it is worth the price I paid for it.

This 3996 Joule surge protector comes with 2 USB ports and 12 power outlets. While it is about 10 bucks more expensive than Belkin BE108230-12, it is a worthwhile investment if you are in need of USB charging ports.

If you do not need a 12-foot power cord and are not happy with its lack of USB charging ports, you will definitely want to give this a miss and check out Belkin BV112050-06.

Belkin BE108230-12 may not be the best Belkin product in most aspects but for the asking price and core features, I would say it is definitely a good buy. Not to mention their Limited Lifetime Product warranty in addition to the $200,000 Connected Equipment Warranty.
